Mission Statement: The Mardi Gras in the Ark-La-Tex Museum was formed to forward the development of a regional Mardi Gras museum. The facility will give residents, visitors and school groups an educational and entertaining perspective of the history of Mardi Gras in Louisiana with particular focus on the celebrations in Northwest Louisiana. In addition, the facility will provide a unique venue for meetings and functions that will showcase a vital part of the area’s cultural heritage.
