German-Acadian Coast Historical and Genealogical Society Oktoberfest

The Annual German-Acadian Coast Historical and Genealogical Society Oktoberfest takes place each October in place of the monthly meeting.  The Oktoberfest dinner begins with a socializing and visiting so members and their guests can mingle with one another.  We will have a silent auction of many genealogical books (many out of print).  Later, the President of the GACHGS will make a few opening comments and a meal is served.  At this time the featured Guest Speaker will make a presentation.  After luncheon, we'll have a closing presentation and announcement of silent auction winners.
