This was one of the best historical tours we've done. There is a lot of rich history about the area that revolves around the house and property. The tour is worth the price. They have a little scavenger hunt paper for the kids to help keep them interested during the tour, which my kids enjoyed. Also lots of fun and unique gift items in the gift shop. It was probably one of our favorite outings this trip so far.

Good plantation experience very close to New Orleans. Our guide Jim did a great job telling us all about the history of the house, grounds, and family. Loved getting to see the plantation's document with Thomas Jefferson's signature on it! Walking the grounds was nice. Rachel gave us a wonderful talk about sugar cane to sugar production. The guide in the Education Center gave a very enlightening talk on the Slave Revolt of 1811. At $20 this was a very worthwhile half day outing.

It's a nice spot. We actually landed here since we go lost. There are some other places which are much nicer for the same cost. But this one is pretty close to New Orleans and takes lesser time

The tour is very nice. I have learned a lot and would definitely come back. The house is beautiful as well as the grounds. There is a lot of history there. The tour is one hour but plan for two so you have time to explore. Also we took an uber from NOLA. A bit expensive and it was difficult to get one on our way back. Easier to rent a car or maybe book a tour with a bus pick up. Highly recommended

We visited while in the area. There was a wedding taking place so we could not visit the barn areas, and we had just missed the tour of the house. We did look through the grounds and the gift shop and had a pleasant time looking around. Prices were good, but on the high side.
