Had to book last minute with Cajun Pride, they were more than accommodating! We had a great time with our guide. There is a nice shop with lots of trinkets and snacks when you check in for your tour. There were many tours starting at the same time, but it was very well organized getting all the patrons where they needed to be. Would definitely recommend a swamp tour with this company.

From start to finish, the tour was great. They shuttle bus drivers shared the history of the area as they drove us to the swamp. The swamp for was very educational and fun. Captain Brandon was funny and knowledgeable. The respect of the wildlife and animals and knowledge of the area was truly impressive. Hands on experience with some animals is a great experience for everyone but most especially for children.

I escort visitors from all over the world to Cajun Pride Swamp Tours as a guide for Gray Line. It is always so much fun to watch their excitement. They have a great time, see alligators, raccoons, deer, and other wildlife, and learn so much in the process. The biggest thrill is undoubtedly holding or touching an alligator. The guides are all experienced fishermen and hunters, and their ability to entertain and inform guests makes a memorable tour become an amazing event.

For $20 a person, the slow boat tour was pretty good. Our Captain told us information about the area and seemed to genuinely enjoy his time with us which was neat. This is a great way to see Gators and other wildlife, albeit because the tours constantly feed the animals. So if you're really into nature you would probably be appalled at the gators being fed a steady diet of marshmallows and hotdogs, but for everyone else it's a cheap thrill and a way to guarantee seeing some wildlife. Minus 1 star for the cheap facade setups on the banks of the bayou. While they did offer a chance for the captain to tell stories about the area, it felt inauthentic and like I was on the jungle cruise. Maybe even acknowledging that they are just recreations of what certain aspects of life would have looked like way back when instead of pretending like we've uncovered some secret of the bayou would help. Overall, good, cheap fun, but keep expectations in line.

Brandon was our boat captain and he was all-around FABULOUS! His knowledge, humor and clear communication were perfectly balanced. We all got a much greater understanding of the swamp ecosystem, history, creatures and how to treat them. He even brought along several of his personal rescue animals (turtles, snakes, crawdad, even a small gator). We had a group of 11 elementary/middle-school students and 4 adults. Everyone loved it and learned a lot! This was a great tour!! Highly recommend!
