Baton Rouge Improv Festival

Mission

The Baton Rouge Improv Festival is a multi-day celebration of all things improv: performances, workshops, panels, community outreach, and social events. Our goal is to bring people together with joy, laughter, and learning.

Some of the most renowned improv performing and teaching artists in the country, along with showcase local and regional talent, will be appearing. We have set out to grow the improv audience and artistry in Louisiana's capital city. As part of that mission, we are striving to build a more diverse, equitable, and collaborative performing arts community.

The Baton Rouge Improv Festival was created with the belief that improv is a powerful force for good, and with that philosophy at its core, the festival can make the world a better place.

An essential part of what we do is teach improv to people who need it. Outreach includes workshops for veterans of foreign wars, young adults from underrepresented communities, and school-age children. As a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, we can turn your tax-free donations into uplifting improv outreach projects, while keeping ticket and workshop prices low for the general public. We can also provide free tickets and workshop scholarships to those in need.

We proudly live-stream the festival to improv fans around the world!
