The Ten Minute Play Festival

We are accepting submissions for our 2023 Ten Minute Play Festival! This year's theme is "Wedding Reception."

We will be holding two readings for our entries before they're submitted. We do this so that our writers can hear how their plays sound before they're finalized and so that they can receive critical feedback on their work.

​The annual Spectral Sisters' Ten Minute Play Festival will be held June at the Hearn Stage in Alexandria. Each year Spectral Sisters highlights local playwrights and gives them the opportunity to see their works staged live. This year's theme is "Wedding Reception."

​Come to any showing to see all the plays selected this year. Tickets are only $10 for general admission..

This year we are also offering prizes for the top three plays! The play who wins First Place will receive $100, Second Place will be awarded $75, and Third Place will get $50 as a thank you from us.
