The Bayou Region of Louisiana has a rich culture all its own. Situated between Lafayette, LA – the heart of Cajun Country – and New Orleans, Houma is home to a sportsman's paradise, rich with natural resources, stellar music and art, and we are known for our great festivals – including a great Craft Beer Festival!
The 7th Annual Bayou Beer Fest will be held at historic Southdown Plantation in Houma, Louisiana. Southdown is a 19th century sugar plantation manor house which also houses The Terrebonne Museum. The museum is filled with antiquities and historical items that tell the story of Terrebonne Parish and South Louisiana.
Showcasing two ounce sampling of the craft beers from around the world combined with great food, stellar musical entertainment all while raising funds for the brave men and women of our Armed Forces.
Come and enjoy an afternoon of great craft beers, ciders and meads. This is our seventh year and it finds us searching out more and more stellar craft beers!
Guests will enjoy music from Nathan Plumbar and Steady Steppin' and Nonc Nu & Da Wild Matous! Sample home brewed beers by Louisiana's best home brewers!
Tickets include 40 sample tickets and a FREE sample glass. Remember to bring cash for food and goodies because we'll have plenty to see! You also want to be sure to be early for the 21-Gun Salute, Pledge and singing of the National Anthem at 11am!
